Twilight

Hey Girls,
Have any of you read the Twilight series? And if so, did you like them? I just finished reading them last week. I really liked them, but I think I kind of got obsessed with reading them. They were hard to put down, and then I kept thinking about them and wondering what will happen next. And then the next book I started to read seemed kind of boring, in comparison.

Okay, I've heard a ton about these books lately. I'm going to take them camping with me next week while the kids are on there Fall Break. I was too nervous about reading them until I knew I had a lot of time-because I have heard they are very addictive! How many books are there?

There are 3 books, but they are quick reads. I'm excited to hear what you think about them.

I just started New Moon today...and have put off picking it up because I couldn't give up a day or two to finish it. I enjoyed Twilight, and found that I have stepped right back into the story...perhaps too easily.

Ok I may not be invited to this blog...it may be a family thing, but I had to check it out! Merrilee, this is fun to see your family! Yes, I read all of them and they are great! Well I loved them, you either love them or hate them, but I LOVE them. -rachelle-

Kallie & I have read all of them. These were the first books that I have read from a pure mom standpoint, and they made me irritated -- i couldn't feel for the protagonist at all. I just kept thinking how stupid she was to fall in love with someone with so much baggage and that she was stupid to let him stay in her room! Kallie loved them though (we've had some long talks about them), and I'm glad i read them, it just bugged me that she was so stupid!

Kas, I agree with your opinion. I don't like the staying in her room part and in the last one when Bella is always throwing herself at Edward. I was annoyed about that since the author is LDS. But I still enjoyed reading them, and I'll read the next one. :)
