still trying to learn!

I couldn't figure out how to get the picture and the words together, so this goes with Nora's picture. When she and Todd were here a couple of weeks ago, I took this picture or her in front of the impatients on our patio. Thought both were pretty and I needed a picture to practice getting on the blog!!

a nice note to end on

My girls wanted to dress up the same one last time before Kallie quit trick-or-treating and hit the Halloween party scene. They decided to be masquerade ballroom dancers from Phantom of the Opera. We went to Grandad and Grandma's to show them, Todd & Nora our costumes. We felt lucky to have Nora consent to be in the picture! It was a nice note to end on.

Andi's Baptism

Andi's baptism was very nice. Donna gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost. After Andi was baptized she told me that she felt really, really happy.

Our "Pretty" Witch and Alvin the Chipmunk

Garrett was Darth Vader for our ward's trunk or treat and for Spooktacular because his red hoodie and hat did not arrive in time to make his Alvin costume. But he was Alvin for his friend's church trunk or treat, for school and for trick or treating on Halloween. We went trick-or-treating with friends of ours. This year the kids, especially Garrett, was really excited about it, partially I think because they were with friends and they're just getting older. They couldn't run from house to house fast enough.

Spooktacular

Brie, Baylie, Tanner, Garrett & Hailey at Spooktacular. I love Tanner's face, it makes me laugh each time I see it. Kas or Nicole will have a better picture, this old camera is terrible. We had a fun night & the weather was nice.

Our Scarecrow "Frank"

I haven't posted anything in a while because Hailey came in to me about 2 months ago and told me very proudly that she washed my digital camera with soap and water. . . so I haven't had a camera . . . again (I'm known to misplace and break cameras, this was my 4th). Kevin found my first digital camera from about 5 years ago, it's bulky and funny looking but it works! So I'm using that for now.

We had fun making our scarecrow, I just haven't been able to post pictures until I went to Walgreens and had a CD made since I don't have a cable for the old camera. I was so proud of Garrett, except for the 2 oval shapes I made for the eyes, he drew and colored the whole face. They were very proud of Frank.

Pumpkin FHE

We carved pumpkins Monday night for FHE. The pumpkins actually were all grown by the Jarvis' kids. We had fun even though it was quite the mess and quite a bit of work.
