GO Mizzou!

Okay, we were absolutely thrilled to watch the Missouri Tigers win last night!!! Wow-what a great season for them and they were so much fun to watch. My only question is (Ron and Cameron both asked) how come they say Mizzou? I think I understand that now they play Oklahoma next week is that correct? Kevin told me they lost against them earlier in the year so hope they play well!!! Very exciting-GO MIZZOU!!

Basement

Here is a picture of ou basement fireplace. We are finally done with the main stuff. Now we will have to work on slowly getting it decorated. I am a little tired and burned out with all the stuff with it right now so I will probably take a break for a bit and work on other things. We feel so blessed to have been able to complete it. We absolutely love having all the extra space added to our home.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope that everyone has had a great Thanksgiving break. We have enjoyed getting to spend time with Mom and Dad, Kent, and Scott's family. We have missed all of you that are away. We got to be part of a great BYU football game today as well. With BYU falling behind then scoring in the last seconds of the game. It was really fun to be apart of that many cheering fans. We have loved getting to sit by Scott and Merrilee at the games this year. Especially since BYU has had such a great season. We also got to celebrate Kent's birthday and made it to the Jordan River temple.

Gilbert Rodeo Days

Ron got free tickets from a lady at work to go to the Gilbert Rodeo yesterday. Rachel-my little cowgirl had the best time of all! She went in her pink cowboy boots and hat. Jacob wore the hat that Uncle Kevin had given Christopher when we were out there in June. Rachel was the only brave one to go out and do the Calf Scramble which she thought was fun. Katie was sad afterwards that she hadn't been brave enough to do it. Rachel and Katie both got autographs from the Royalty girls. I think we found Rachel's niche!! She is our Cowgirl, through and through!!

Those Precious Moments

Yesterday during chore time, I caught Rachel (who was finished with her chores!) reading to Jacob. She would rub his head and he just sat there for about 30 minutes (shocking!). These are those precious moments that you hope you never forget. I managed to get this shot by sneaking around the corner before they realized what I was doing! I love it when they get along!!

Hailey is 3!

Hailey had her princess party on Saturday. She decided not to dress up but was still adorable. The girls had a fun time. We're going to McDonald's for her birthday dinner tonight. Isn't it great that little ones are so easy to please!!?

Snow White & Cinderalla visited (our original Cinderella fell through the night before but we found a brown haired substitute, it stressed me out but worked!! What do they care?) Snow White is my sister Emily.

Hallway-paint job!

I have been telling Donna I was going to send her this picture for several weeks. I keep forgetting but because she is wanting me to show her my window treatments I sewed myself (hee!) I thought I would include this one as well. This is the hallway that leads into our downstairs bathroom. I've already sent pictures of the bathroom but hadn't finished the hallway until about a month ago! I took a picture with the window treatment up but with the light shining in-it turned out too dark. I will have to wait until the sun goes down and try again.

We are starting with the easy ones-with just straight lines. But I am so excited!!! I will send you guys a picture hopefully later today to show you my first project!! Wish me luck! And thanks Kassie for sending me that address-I got my card sent off that day!

Squirrel hunting

Yesterday our family went up past Payson, AZ to the edge of the Mogollon Rim to go squirrel hunting! I was the driver, Ron and Cameron were the shooters and the kids were the lookouts and chasers!! This whole process is pretty funny but is A LOT of fun!! Even I surprised myself by hootin and hollerin when we would get one. Overall for the morning we got 5 squirrels. Rachel surprised all of us by having, "The best time ever." She wanted to hold every single one of them and then her and Katie went outside with Ron when he was cutting them up to get the meat. Christopher saw one cut and ran inside and puked!! He will never be a doctor! We had a great time-in fact the kids all voted in the car on the way home that everyone that day had a blast! Except Jakie-see picture below! lol

Jakie's version of squirrel hunting

And so in case any of you are wondering how Jacob liked squirrel hunting-well you can see he kept his distance staying nice and secure in his car seat! He would get out once in awhile and he always wanted to see the squirrel-but from the safety of the car!!!

Haul-o-ween!

Kallie, Brie & Baylie made the most of their Halloween by running from house to house, covering two entire neighborhoods. In years past, we haven't made it all the way through one neighborhood! First, we stopped by Granddad & Grandma's house to show off our costumes and then we stopped by Tanner's house to see what a cute tiger cub he was! We're all tired today, but not too many years left of trick-or-treating, so it was worth it!

Halloween Spirit

Okay can you believe our whole family dressed up for Halloween!?! Including me! Cameron is the M&M guy and Ron (sort of) dressed up as Randy Johnson when he played for the Diamondbacks! You can tell by our outfits that it was nice and warm out! I guess this way you know you are always getting your money's worth-you definitely don't need a coat to cover the costumes!! We came back and ate hot apple pie and ice cream!

Schnepff Farms-Pumpkin Patch

Jacob and I went to the pumpkin patch last Friday with my friends from North Phoenix-Ryan and Deanna and all there kids. They had the day off from school. It was nice to just have it be Jacob and me-Rachel had been there the Friday before on a field trip. We rode the roller coaster, petting zoo and watched the pig races. Jacob got to keep the little pumpkin shown in the last picture! We carved our pumpkins Tuesday morning after the kids went to school-oh my goodness Jacob had a blast doing this. He thought it was one of the funnest things ever. He can be so dang cute!! I don't know if you can tell but in the group picture at the pumpkin patch-the kids are sweating. It was 95 degrees that day! Sure doesn't feel like FALL here!
