As most of you know-Cameron received his mission call last Friday. We kept going to the mailbox ALL day on Friday. It finally arrived at 4 p.m. and Cameron got on the phone to start calling all of his friends. We waited until Ryan and Deanna Christensen arrived from North Phoenix at opened it at 7 p.m.. Unfortunately the kids were at there dad's but we called them immediately after he read where he was going. He had his siblings on speaker phone so it was quite memorable for him. He opened his call read where he was going and immediately burst into tears and started hugging his dad. So he is going to the Ukraine mission speaking Russian and will report to the MTC on May 21, 2008. Yea Cameron!

Gramma Jana tell him to watch out for the babs thay can be mean there, especially if he doesnt wear a hat from October to April.
Ron and I want to know what the babs are? We laughed at the Gramma Jana comment!! Pretty funny, heh?
Todd had asked me where in the Ukraine that Cameron was going. I told him that it was a long name that started with a D and he immediately pronounced it (which I couldn't say even when trying to repeat him). If you are looking at an atlas of that area, Todd served in Samara, Penza, Saratov (SaRAHtov), and Kazan among others. They are all to the north and east of Cameron's mission. Tell Cameron to give Todd a call sometime. Todd could share some experiences with him. Dad went over to Chapmans last night with his high priest group presidency. They got their last 4 (5 ?) children last year from the Ukraine and went there to do it. They told Dad they know the mission pres. there, and that he is from Mesa. We are happy for him.
I know I already emailed, but that's very exciting Cameron! My adopted brother and sister are from Russia, not too far away.
Heres a language lesson for you jana the russian word for grandmother is babushka. but very few people say that just like no one says grandmother so they say either babul or bab. Technically you are one but i was talking about the older one you got to be at least 40 to count
