Christopher's first band concert was last night! They did a combined band and choir night. Since it is a K-8 school it also included the 7th and 8th graders. It made for a VERY long night. Christopher's group for only playing for the last 2 1/2 months did remarkably well. We were proud of him and had the whole family in attendance!

Way to go Christopher! We didn't know he was in band until the day you sent the note saying that you were going to be going to his concert that night. We were curious to know what his instrument was that he was playing--but now we can see for ourselves.

I am so excited for you. I don't know if your mom told you, but I played the trumpet for a long time. I still have my trumpet. Next time you come maybe we can play it together. You look very professional all dressed up for your concert. I hope that you had a great time. I loved being in the band and I hope that you do to.
