Like Father, Like Son...........

Dave & Tanner made pancakes together again today- it's beginning to be a Sunday tradition.

The other morning I got out of the shower and Tanner had built roads all through the house out of toilet paper. He was driving his tractor and cars on therm. It was really cute.

Tanner always tells me "I need my phone & keys to go to Jeff City and build bridges". He knows that dad "builds bridges" while he's at work and Dave had a conference in Jefferson City a few weeks ago.

Tanner is definitely his Daddy's little boy. Infact, they're out looking at cows right now!

Syd Turns Two on Feb. 20th

She sang along when we sang "Happy Birthday."

She loved her gifts and has been having lots of fun with them.

Our Valentine's Day Gifts

We gave books to the kids for Valentine's Day this year. Scott and I gave each other chocolate. :) And he gave me beautiful roses! Mom & Dad, your cards and $ came later that day, so that's why your cards aren't in the pictures.

Happy Valentines Day

Dave really surprised me yesterday - he came home with an ipod player for me and fresh salmon & tilapia (I love fresh seafood, but never buy it because it's expensive). Ever since we got our gym membership I've been learning how to use my ipod a lot more, and now I can just plug it into my new player and play my music around the house. I think I'll put it in the kitchen.
Anyway, we love Valentines Day! I gave cookies to the gals I visit teach, too.
We're going out for Valentines NEXT weekend to a new restaurant with Devon & Brooke. Of all my years working in restaurants I learned to hate the crowds on Valentines weekend. You can't get me even close to a restaurant on the 14th - crowded and long waits and grumpy people!
So we'll enjoy it next weekend.
Thanks sweetie for the gifts!

My new Bed!!

Last year someone gave us a toddler bed and it's been up in our attic until Tanner saw it yesterday when Dave was getting things down. We didn't let him sleep in it last night, but today naptime was his first. He was so excited about that bed that he couldn't sleep a wink! He was jittery he was so excited. It was sooooooooo cute. It's going to be an interesting night tonight........................
