Happy Halloween from the REAL BYU family

Dave's new Facebook picture
We got our high standards from Utah Valley....
We had a family tattoo party at home before the church party. Tanner didn't want to wear his Transformer costume when he saw us dressing up so we let him join the fun!
happy halloween!

A few pictures from around here

Whenever Dave fixes anything Tanner gets out his "Bob The Builder" hat and all his tools. Tanner loves helping fix things so much he gets hyper. He even went and put jeans on instead of shorts so he could really be ready to help (although Dad's in shorts??).

Tanner never stops having fun. Friday night after his bath he came out of his room in church clothes instead of p.j.'s. He even went and combed his hair. Lately he likes doing his hair. I think he gets it from Dave.
Complete with shoes tied. The knots are HUGE. Tanner is very proud.
He put his own tie on, too. Remember, it's 8:30 pm and he was supposed to be putting his pajamas on.

fall

This is the beginning of fall color in the Ozarks. I took this picture standing in the driveway looking towards the south and zoomed in to get the beautiful red tree in our field before it loses its color. Wish I was a better picture taker. We do have a lot of beautiful nature I'd like to share!

Boating

Cade "no hands" on the kneeboard. He is finally brave enough to give it a try this year.
We spent the last week before school started going boating. One of my favorite things to do. One day we let the kids each bring a friend and then another day we took out a couple of friends and their families. We had a great time. The weather was perfect and the company was great.

Demoliton Derby

We went to the Demolition Derby at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds the other night. It was a fun event. We went with several friends and their families. They kids thought it was great. So did Robbie and I.

Baptism

We were so lucky to get to be apart of Alyssa's baptism. It was such a special day. Shayla still talks about Alyssa's baptism. She is always asking me, "When I get baptised can I....?"

U.S.S. Mississippi Tugboat

Dave took us aboard the largest US Army Corp of Engineers working Tugboat. It was on the Arkansas River this week open for tours for Corp employees and their families. Tanner & Nora looked like twins holding hands on the boat. One person even asked if they were. I wish. :-). We love Nora.
