Early spring from the backyard

Dad, the horses, and maybe you can see in the background, the pear trees (that are still standing after the ice storm from 2 years ago).

Dance Pictures

Scott and I and Kent and my niece Candice went to the BYU Alumni Dance last Saturday. It was really fun. We had dinner with Donna and Robbie at PF Changs before the dance. It was a great date night! I loved wearing a formal, but by the time I got home, I was ready to get my PJs on. :) Scott and I learned a little of the triple step, the fox trot, and the cha-cha at the dance lessons they had that night. We'll have to take some more dance lessons, so that when we go next year we'll know what we're doing.

I tought you might like to enjoy through a picture what we get to lookout at everyday from our front door!

Weekend Activities

A day at the park.

Donna's Visit

This is a little late, but another picture from Donna's Visit to Missouri.

Swimming Lessons

The kids had swimming lessons for five Saturdays in a row. They just finished yesterday. They all really enjoy swimming lessons. Spencer gets to advance to the final level of swimming lessons, so he's excited. Syd and I will be joining the kids when they take again in the summer.

Making Cookies

Spencer wanted cookies one day after school, so I told him he could make some. I helped, but he did a lot of it. And of course, everyone has to lick something before we wash the baking dishes.

Easter Eggs

Last Sunday we hid eggs filled with popcorn, cheeze its, M&M's or mini oreos for Tanner - and now he asks if we can do it every day! It was so cute! Today we're having some non-member neighbor friends over after conference to die Easter eggs and have an Easter egg hunt INSIDE (it will be cold and yucky).
Tanner just lights up when he finds those eggs, it's his favorite thing!
What will we do when Easter is over??

Shayla's 3 year birthday

This is a video clip of Shayla blowing out her candles. She was so cute on her birthday. I cannot believe that she is actually 3 now. When I took her to her 3 year doctor check-up she was in the 95th% for height and in the 75-90th% for weight. I thought that was funny since I am so short and Robbie is not really tall. She definitely thinks she is a lot older than 3 most of the time. She loved everything and shouted with excitement even over the cards.

More Missouri

Missouri

We had a great time in Missouri. Thanks to all the family there for spending so much time with us. My kids loved getting to play with all their cousins and hang out on the farm with Granddad. It was a quick trip, but we are really glad that we just went even if it was last minute.

Draper Temple Open House

It has been forever since I have added anything. Sometimes all the internet stuff can get overwhelming. We got to go to the Draper Temple Open House in February. We went with Robbie's family. It was a really neat experience. The temple was beautiful and very modern. It is a mini-temple, but will still service thousands of people.

Like Father, Like Son...........

Dave & Tanner made pancakes together again today- it's beginning to be a Sunday tradition.

The other morning I got out of the shower and Tanner had built roads all through the house out of toilet paper. He was driving his tractor and cars on therm. It was really cute.

Tanner always tells me "I need my phone & keys to go to Jeff City and build bridges". He knows that dad "builds bridges" while he's at work and Dave had a conference in Jefferson City a few weeks ago.

Tanner is definitely his Daddy's little boy. Infact, they're out looking at cows right now!

Syd Turns Two on Feb. 20th

She sang along when we sang "Happy Birthday."

She loved her gifts and has been having lots of fun with them.
